Heat Pumps NI is a family owned team run by Alex Byrne and Marie Ash. The company is based in Aghyaran, located five miles outside of Castlederg, Co Tyrone.
Alex has been in the heating and plumbing business for over 35 years. Since returning home from England in 1993 he decided to look into alternative heating and plumbing products, which have been successful in other European countries such as Sweden and Germany for many years. The company has been installing under floor heating, geothermal heat pumps and solar panels for over 18 years.
Alex is also involved with training courses ran by the Renewable Energy Skills Network in the Sligo region. He lectures to other Plumbers, Architects and Engineers about renewable energy heating systems. He regularly visits other European countries to research new innovated products coming on the market, not yet available in Ireland.
He gives every individual customer expert advice on all heating and plumbing requirements for their homes.

We became MCS accredited last December and became a member of Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC). As a customer you can employ us knowing that the MCS works in partnership with the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) which ensures that MCS installation companies are working to a Trading Standards Institute approved Code of Practice. MCS installation companies have to make sure that they sell their products and services to consumers appropriately, without miss selling or misleading a consumer.
